A haul truck operator resume should identify the equipment you have operated, the work environment and your responsibilities. Specific details help readers understand your experience; extra machine names do not help if you have never operated them.
This fictional example describes an experienced operator. If you are seeking a traineeship or have only completed a course, use the same section structure but describe your actual stage of experience.

Make the equipment section accurate
A mine truck and an articulated civil truck are different experience. List them separately. Do not group every machine under “dump trucks” if the vacancy specifies a particular fleet.
If you quote hours, use a defensible record and identify whether they relate to that model or your wider experience. Do not convert years of employment into invented operating hours. If records are unavailable, describe your work period and tasks without a precise total.
Check your CV for haul truck work after adding your own equipment and work history.
Explain safety through actions
“Safety conscious” is broad. Describing inspections, reporting defects, following traffic controls and communicating at handover tells the reader more. Use only procedures you actually followed. Do not copy a zero-incident claim from a sample.
A stronger bullet explains the task and its context. For example, “Completed truck checks” can become “Completed pre-start checks on the allocated CAT 793F and reported defects before operation.” It is clearer without promising a hiring outcome.
If you are applying for a traineeship
Say you are seeking trainee work and describe relevant driving, practical work, shift experience or training. A course certificate does not establish production operating experience. Do not use the experienced-operator summary above if it does not fit you; start with the entry-level resume guide.
Before sending the application
Check the fleet, experience requirement, licence or competency evidence, departure point and roster in the actual advertisement. Different employers may ask for different records. Ensure the application form and your CV describe the same experience.
